Simoro Golf Links is an 18 Hole par 72 golf course, complete with grass driving range and putting green. It is located in Oro Medonte about 10 minutes north of Barrie. It plays just over 6,000 yards from the back tees. Simoro has been around since the 1950s. 9 holes were added in 1985 to complete the 18 hole course. Many golfers enjoy the vast difference in the 2 nines. The front nine is fairly open and when the weather conditions are right, plays just like a true Scottish links course. The back nine is narrow in spots and requires accuracy off the tee. Simoro features some elevation changes as well as natural wet lands and tricky greens. The golf course is well suited for all abilities.
